What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Define and oversee the organization's risk assessment framework and maintain the risk register
- Manage and mitigate third-party risks while setting policy and oversight mechanisms
- Lead strategic planning and execution of risk remediation across the organization
- Oversee comprehensive security audits to ensure alignment with organizational objectives
- Provide leadership and direction to the GRC team, promoting a culture of risk-awareness
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree and seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in IT or cybersecurity roles, or ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in IT or cybersecurity roles
- ISACA Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), ISC2 Governance, Risk and Compliance (CGRC), or equivalent risk-focused information security certification within one (1) year of hire date
- Expert proficiency with cybersecurity risk concepts and tools
- Expert knowledge in healthcare and education security frameworks (NIST, HIPAA, HITRUST, GLBA)
- ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in security governance, risk, or audit-focused roles
