      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Manage multiple projects to support the Government Affairs and Public Policy team
      - Develop reporting processes and tools to track the success of departmental goals
      - Analyze local government and state legislative developments affecting the employer
      - Conduct research and support advocacy efforts through presentations and briefings
      - Organize and maintain documentation related to legislation and advocacy initiatives

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent training/experience
      - Minimum of 1 year of experience in state/local government affairs
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration platforms
      - Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills
      - Ability to manage complex priorities under tight deadlines

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in the telecommunications industry (e.g., wireline, wireless, broadband)
      - Knowledge of federal, state, and local broadband and telecommunications issues
      - Involvement in local community engagement and public affairs
      - Experience with Concur, SAP, or similar database systems
      - Familiarity with public policy or compliance implementation
