- Support from a highly experienced clinical support team including Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Paramedics Home Visiting Service, PCN Physiotherapy & Mental Health Service, Diabetes Nurse and Respiratory Nurse Specialists.
- A strong prescribing team lead by a pharmacist and supported by pharmacy technicians and prescribing clerks.
- Strong links with our PCN colleagues and services, many of the PCN/GPEA services are hosted in our building. One of our GP partners is a PCN Clinical Director.
- A fully established Admin and Secretarial team utilising current electronic and workflow principles.
- Established training practice.
- Teaching practice taking medical students from Southampton University.
- Active sessional research practice, leading research across our PCN with ongoing involvement in commercial research projects.
- Scope to take a lead role in a health subject that you have a passion to lead
- Allocated parking with easy access to the A3(M) and M27.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity to join an expanding practice located in an excellent modern purpose-built (leased) premises in Waterlooville, South East Hampshire and with easy access to the A3 (M) and M27.
Due to the planned retirement and the diversification into non-clinical roles of our current GP team, we are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated GP to join our youthful, diverse, progressive thinking team either as a Partner or a Salaried GP for five to six sessions a week.
We are a high performing practice with a strong ethos of continuity of patient care, teamwork and peer support. We have a list size of circa 17,000 patients, we use EMIS Web and our most recent CQC rating was GOOD.

We are looking for GPs to join our team at Oaks Healthcare with 5- 6 sessions per week. Working days can be negotiable but we would need to ensure good cover for our patients throughout the week.
The post holder will undertake a variety of standard GP duties including face-to-face consultations home visits, telephone consultations, prescriptions, laboratory reports and paperwork with protected admin time either as a partner or salaried GP.
GPs at Oaks Healthcare hold their own personalised list (size pro rata for the number of clinical sessions) and work in one of the three small GP teams for continuity of chronic clinical care.
