What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform advanced professional grants analytic work for the State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program (SLCGP)
- Manage a portfolio of approximately 100 grant contracts per federal fiscal year
- Collaborate with FEMA, TEMA, and STS to ensure effective grant management
- Oversee sub-recipient monitoring to ensure compliance and effectiveness of funded projects
- Assist in the evaluation and approval of cybersecurity project proposals
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in grants analysis or related field
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
- Familiarity with federal grant management processes and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with federal and state agencies, particularly in emergency management
- Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and practices
- Prior experience in managing grants or contracts
- Familiarity with project management tools and techniques
