      The Academic Program Services Specialist provides comprehensive administrative, operational, and programmatic support for the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Minority Leaders Research Collaboration Program (MLRCP) within Graduate Studies at The Ohio State University. Working in coordination with the Assistant Director of the AFRL ML-RCP, this position oversees the day-to-day operations of the program to ensure the effective delivery of academic, research, and student support services while advancing the program's strategic objectives.

      Hiring Range: $70,100 - $91,600

      Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and four years of experience with award management & grant administration, demonstrated ability to manage complex administrative and operational processes with a high degree of independence, excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

      Desired Qualifications: Masters degree or an equivalent combination of education and four to eight years of experience with award management & grant administration, proficiency with and experience using financial and administrative systems including Workday strongly desired; considerable experience developing and maintaining records, reports, tracking systems, and documentation with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Experience administering federal programs, particularly Department of Defense (DoD) or AFRL-funded projects.
