Primary Purpose of Position:
The State Library is seeking a dedicated and forward-thinking Grants Assistant to join our team! The Grants Assistant supports the Federal LSTA Grant Program by performing the record-keeping and reporting requirements of the program and monitoring grant recipient adherence to state and federal rules and regulations governing grant expenditures. Primary duties include processing, recording, and tracking grant applications, awards, agreements, reimbursement requests, and payments. The position works closely with the Federal Programs Consultant and the State Library's Budget Officer to ensure accurate financial reporting and procedural compliance on all grants and serves as a point of contact for grant recipients throughout North Carolina.
