About the Role:
For our Ferrero HQs in Luxembourg, we are looking for a Area APAC-MEA Governance, Risk and Compliance Manager.
By covering this position, you will work under the professional guidance of the Group GRC and in coordination with the Area CFO to support di Area board in the detection and prioritization of risks and in the implementation of mitigation processes across geographies, with business acumen and a process-driven mindset.
Main Responsibilities:
In this role, you will lead the team responsible for Group Risk and Compliance based in the Regions of the Asia Pacific, Middle-East and Africa Area.
You will support the Area CFO and Area Functions in risk identification, and in the communication of priorities, facilitating process-driven interaction within the Area departments and across the Regions.
You will facilitate the SMEs cascading of new standards in the geographies ensuring consistency with Area and Group priorities.
You will drive Self and Process assessment (including Virtual Country Visits) culture in the Area and Regions, aiming at Line Management Accountability and at cross functional collaboration in internal control.
You will ensure that, for the issues identified in assessments and audits, actions plans are defined and shared with the SMEs.
According to the communicated yearly audit plan, you will engage the Line Managers in the geographies in scope to explain the audit process, their responsibilities, the expected activities and deliverables and plan for any pre-assessments to allow management to gain understanding of the internal control status.
You will facilitate the data exchange, clarification and discussion of open issues with the audit team and challenge the remediation owners in drafting mitigations aligned with projects and business priorities, while performing quality assurance check during the process and at completion stage.
Finally, you will support the SMEs and Department Heads in having a clear status of the implementation and remediation of the open issues.
Who we are looking for:
You will have a Master's Degree in Economics or Management.
You will bring relevant working experience of around 10 years, with a strong expertise in Internal Audit and Control. Anti-Fraud and Internal Audit certification would be a plus.
Experience in business processes execution and Asia Pacific, Middle-East & Africa geographies would be a plus.
Experience with SAP-ECC and SAP-GRC will be considered a plus.
You will have strong communication and leadership skills.
