      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Plan and coordinate protection and management of Wisconsin's Great Lakes sport and commercial fisheries
      - Develop and recommend complex statewide fisheries management policy
      - Consult on the Great Lakes fisheries program and provide direction to staff
      - Work with stakeholders on highly sensitive fisheries issues
      - Substantial statewide travel to various locations for meetings

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Experience developing, recommending, or evaluating policy alternatives for fisheries
      - Experience developing, planning, or implementing biological evaluations for habitat protection
      - Experience developing or coordinating the protection of aquatic resources through policy development
      - Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
      - Must describe all qualifications within the resume and/or letter of qualifications

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience developing and recommending statewide plans for species and habitat management
      - Experience supporting public outreach programs to provide technical information
      - Knowledge of advanced fisheries quantitative analysis techniques using statistical tools
