Minimum 3 years of management experience required.

Prior retail experience and knowledge of Asian products required.

Position Summary:
The Grocery Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of the everyday department and creating a culture of exceptional service to enhance the customer experience. The Grocery Manager plays a key role in achieving financial goals and ensuring compliance with all relevant governing and company guidelines. They are accountable for maintaining excellent food and workplace safety standards while fostering an environment of development and training for all staff members, from customer service to management level. The Grocery Manager cultivates a positive team culture, fosters good vendor relationships, and collaborates with the Merchandising team to introduce innovative food ideas to enhance the Uwajimaya Experience. Exemplifying excellent customer service, the Grocery Manager upholds company policies, guidelines, and procedures. The Grocery Manager reports to the Store Director (SD) and Assistant Store Director (ASD), working in partnership with the Corporate Support staff.
Position’s Key Responsibilities:
Starting at $77,968.80 annually, Depending on Experience + Bonus Opportunities.
