      The Gulfstream Maintenance Manager will conduct or lead all aspects of maintenance performed on assigned aircraft and ensuring compliance to company policies and procedures regarding airworthiness standards. Specific duties include, but are not limited to, routine maintenance tracking, long term planning, scheduling and completion of maintenance events, and financial responsibility for costs incurred associated with maintenance operations. Additionally, this position shall be the liaison between the applicable manufacturers to ensure appropriate levels of service delivery in the management of all warranty programs and other aviation projects as necessary. Negotiate maintenance costs with vendors and take advantage of special considerations with cost savings offered. This role will have people leader responsibilities in the future upon expansion of the Corporate aircraft fleet.

      Education And Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Maintenance Management, Business Management preferred or equivalent combination of experience and education.
      • 10 years of Aircraft Maintenance and Inspection experience.
      • Intermediate level knowledge of FAA regulations as it pertains to aircraft maintenance.
      • Knowledge of aircraft parts and warranty program management.
      • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office and applicable suite of products.
      • Demonstrates knowledge of the planning, implementation and direction of the maintenance programs and control system for the aircraft operated.
      • Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License required.
      • FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred, must be eligible to obtain an IA.

      What To Expect

      • Processes all necessary paperwork as mandated by regulation.
      • Carries out assigned work in an expeditious manner, exercising sound judgement in executing each work project
      • Provides support to Ground Operations as needed.
      • Documents, approves, and upholds procedures for aircraft release.
      • Maintains the hangar and facilities for the assigned asset(s).
      • Supervises aircraft maintenance on company owned asset(s).
      • Plans and assigns work based on demand and business needs.
      • Management of assigned aircraft asset(s).
      • Assists in budgetary planning for O&M and capital forecasting as it related to the assigned asset(s).
      • Fluency and knowledge of applicable industry specific-software tools, including CAMP, Flightdocs, and/or myCMP.
      • Ensures compliance with applicable regulatory bodies, including but not limited to the FAA, OSHA, and EHS.
      • Regulations, and that all Manufacturer’s requirements and advisories and Company policies are established and maintained.
      • Ensuring that Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins that affect Flight Department aircraft are complied with appropriately.
      • Removing from service any aircraft that are unsafe, or that do not comply with national regulatory requirements or Company policy.
      • Ensuring the aircraft asset is managed in a manner to maintain dispatch reliability.
      • Supporting and participating in the Safety Management System.
      • Other projects as necessary.
      • Travel: ranges from10-25%
      • Travel that requires overnight stay: 75%
      • Travel is dependent on where the aircraft will be.
