What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and implement business development strategies tailored to the federal government sector
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and analyze federal budgets and procurement processes
- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in federal agencies and industry partners
- Oversee the development and submission of proposals in response to federal government solicitations
- Lead and mentor a high-performing business development team focused on federal contracts
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, public administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Extensive experience in strategic planning and execution within the federal government sector
- Proven track record of securing and managing large federal contracts
- In-depth knowledge of federal procurement processes and compliance requirements
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
