Job Description

Performing basic repairs on the partial portfolio of handpieces and/or medical equipment as assigned by Supervisor
Performs diagnosis and failure analysis using appropriate test equipment and tooling.
Documents device evaluation, service recommendations, parts required and preventative maintenance feedback on service work orders.
Repairs and performs quality testing of products to established specifications as required.
Performs other tasks as assigned by lead or management.
Ability to read, understand and perform standard procedures and work instructions.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Basic mechanical skills desired.
Basic math and logic skills required.
Basic computer skills and software use desired.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Willingness to learn repair of more advanced products.
Ability to work successfully in a team environment.
Ability to work without direct supervision.
Upholds company policies and standards.
- 0- 6 months professional work experience with proficiency in relevant mechanical trades preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Travel – typically not required.
- Position typically works in a manufacturing environment on site where environmental conditions are stable. May be exposed to higher levels of noise typical in a manufacturing environment.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit or stand for extended periods of time; use hands to finger, and operate manual and non-manual machinery; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, stretch and lift up to 20 pounds.
- Position requires that the employee use eye protection using certain equipment/machinery.

This role is responsible for performing basic repairs on the partial portfolio of Handpiece and/or Medical Equipment. This includes but is not limited to: high-speed handpieces, basic attachments and/or heads and basic sterilizers. Additionally, performs other task assigned by lead or management.
