- Partner with and provide HR guidance to your client group to support their goals through people including On-boarding, career coaching, organizational design, talent management, HR employment practices, rewards and recognition strategies, diversity strategies, employee relations, etc.
- Formulate partnerships across the organization to deliver HR service to leaders and employees that help achieve the strategic objectives of the organization.
- Maintain a high level of connection to business unit’s core function, financial position, mid-range plans, culture, and competition. Team with Talent Acquisition on growing our diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace
- Analyze business unit trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies to improve HR’s contribution to the organization’s goals.
- Work with the business to promote diversity, equity and inclusion plans with a focus on talent movement, recruiting and representation and targeted development plans
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase efficiency and retention.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, appropriately reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Collaborate with legal department as needed/required.
- Provide HR Policy mentorship and interpretation in dealing with employee relations issues
- Work with leadership to identify training needs for business units
- BA/BS degree in Human Resources/Labor Relations or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in general HR management and/or a business partner role
- Employee advocacy, and cultural change activities is preferred -OR- equivalent leadership experience or relevant work experience
- Broad knowledge of Employee Relations, Labor Relations, Conflict Resolution and Organizational Effectiveness
- Familiarity with FMLA, EEO laws, ADA and other employment related State and Federal laws & regulations is required
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business partners’ needs and goals and apply HR solutions needed to achieve results
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Experience in employee development, coaching, organizational design, recruiting, compensation, employee relations, training, and HR project management and program execution
- HR business insight - able to diagnose problems and identify and drive appropriate solutions
- Relevant Business experience preferred Minimum 2 years Management/Leadership experience is preferred
- Experience working with IT/Technology groups

The HR Business Partner position partners with department leaders to establish creative, strategic people programs and solutions that promote people focused culture, address organizational challenges, and achieve business goals. This individual is very collaborative as they advise our business partners in people related areas including; employee engagement, talent management and acquisition, training/mentoring leaders at all levels, performance managements, regulatory compliance and employee relations. The HRBP will also work with HR centers of excellence (COE) and other internal customers to influence and implement people related programs.
