      Head of Leadership Development

      Hybrid – Epsom / Barbican | Learning and Development | Permanent | Part-Time

      Competitive salary, depending on experience

      22.5 - 30 weekly hours

      The Head of Leadership Development is accountable for leadership development across the charity, ensuring that Nuffield Health’s leaders are suitably equipped in their roles and able to fulfil their leadership potential. Working with the Organisational Development Director, they will design and deliver the Charity’s Leadership Development Strategy, building a developmental framework that fosters personal growth and high performance. The Head of Leadership Development will support the Leadership Development Partner with the management of the leadership curriculum and will be actively involved in senior leader delivery and coaching; they will work closely with the People SLT and Executive Development Director, designing impactful programmes that fulfil senior / business leadership needs, and facilitate organisational performance.

      Areas of responsibility include: Management of the Leadership Development Team, Design and Delivery of the Leadership Development Strategy, Ownership of the Leadership Capability Framework, Signature Programme Development/Delivery, Leadership Coaching and Mentoring, and Oversight of the Leadership Development Curriculum.

      As a member of the Learning Foundation’s Senior Leadership Team, the role holder may also be asked to support other areas of activity in the wider charity, as deemed appropriate.

      Supporting Information:

      • Management of the Leadership Development Team (3 team members); x1 direct report

      • Budget management responsibilities: Leadership Development Budget (c400k)

      • Work closely with the Head of Learning Excellence to ensure full compliance with all accreditation requirements e.g., Apprenticeship Levy,

      • Remote/London-based; national travel is occasionally required to facilitate delivery, as required

      • Significant experience of working in a senior leadership development role e.g., Director, Head of, is essential for this role, as is a suitable qualification in L&D and Coaching e.g., CIPD L5 / L7, Coaching Diploma / PGDip. Master’s degree in a related subject is highly-desirable.
