G-Research is a leading quantitative research and technology firm, with offices in London and Dallas. We are proud to employ some of the best people in their field and to nurture their talent in a dynamic, flexible and highly stimulating culture where world-beating ideas are cultivated and rewarded.

This is a hybrid role based in our new Soho Place office – opened in 2023 - in the heart of Central London and home to our Research Lab.

      The role

G-Research is excited to announce a newly created role within our Human Resources (HR) function - the Head of Organisational Development (OD).

We are seeking an ambitious senior leader to put their stamp on the shape of our HR function and influence the wider employee landscape at a business at the forefront of our industry.

In this greenfield role, you will lead the design, evolution, and execution of transformative organisational development initiatives, ensuring our HR function is equipped to match the long-term goals of G-Research.

Your main focus areas will include strategic talent management, developing our core firm values and competencies, competency coaching, change management, and overarching employee engagement. Across these domains, you will have the unique opportunity to autonomously design and build from the ground up, helping to shape G-Research.

You will provide leadership to manage organisational change, collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition to new ways of working.

This role represents a pivotal opportunity to drive positive change and elevate our organisational capabilities to new heights.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

      • Organisation Culture, Performance Management, and our Engagement Approach

        • Leading the design of organisational development initiatives

        • Designing performance management processes that drive success

        • Shaping our culture and values, and designing initiatives to improve employee engagement and satisfaction

      • High Potential Talent Development and Succession Planning

        • Designing and implementing a tailored development plan process for high-potential employees

        • Collaborating with leadership to identify critical roles and create a robust succession planning process for future talent gaps

      • Learning, Development, and Training

        • Leading the design and delivery of learning programs

      • Talent Frameworks & Functional Competencies

        • Assessing competencies to identify the key skills, behaviours, and capabilities for success

        • Developing a comprehensive coaching programme aligned to our core competencies

      Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

      • Demonstrable expertise in organisational development

      • A proven ability to build, lead, and manage high-performing teams

      • An understanding of best practice frameworks, what ‘good looks like’ and the ability to apply this knowledge in a pragmatic way

      • A diverse background across Talent Development, OD and Business Partnering

      • Experience across a breadth of industry sectors, ideally including FinTech or similarly fast-paced environments

      • Exceptional communication and influencing skills

      • Change management expertise with a focus on driving a positive organisational culture

      • A desire to make your mark and put your stamp on this newly created position by building a truly world-class function from scratch

This role provides a unique opportunity to shape the future of G-Research. If you are a forward-thinking and results-oriented leader with a passion for OD, we encourage you to apply.

      Why should you apply?

      • Highly competitive compensation plus annual discretionary bonus
      • Lunch provided (via Just Eat for Business) and dedicated barista bar
      • 30 days’ annual leave
      • 9% company pension contributions
      • Informal dress code and excellent work/life balance
      • Comprehensive healthcare and life assurance
      • Cycle-to-work scheme
      • Monthly company events

G-Research is committed to cultivating and preserving an inclusive work environment. We are an ideas-driven business and we place great value on diversity of experience and opinions.
