- Develop the sales targets for the region, including forecasting, analysis and reporting, in conjunction with the Sales Director as part of the monitoring progress towards agreed targets.
- Be a key partner for the wider sales team when discount levels or discuss commercial terms for their customers. Work in conjunction with the Sales Director to agree terms for customers where appropriate.
- Lead the American sales team to achieve agreed sales targets, in close cooperation with the team supporting panel manufacturing headquarters.
- Undertake active sales work in the region, both by managing own accounts and by supporting the team in the field as needed.
- Develop, mentor and line manage members of the regional sales team.
- Seek to identify market trends or recurring customer behaviours, and ensure these insights are considered appropriately.
- Manage select key customer relationships.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Marketing and Product Management, Technical Support and R&D teams based in the UK.
- Be an advocate for our products, including participating in the Brompton presence at events and trade shows.
- Work with our finance and business systems teams to ensure our CRM system is capturing useful data, is straightforward to use and maximising our effectiveness.
- Provide input into marketing plans for the region.
- Support the management team in evaluating new opportunities and potential hires in the region.
- Leading specific initiatives for the region.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to work well with wider teams
- A proven track record in B2B sales within the AV, LED, Broadcast, or related technology sectors.
- Experience managing complex sales cycles and key accounts in a highly technical field
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across cultures.
- Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative, cross-regional team.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, and maintain consistently high-quality outcomes
- Comfortable using CRM and standard business software (Microsoft Office, MacOS or Windows).
- A passport, and a willingness to travel extensively
- Experience of LED video processing
- Experience using Salesforce
- Proficiency in one or more additional languages from the region (Spanish, French, Portuguese)

Salary: Competitive, dependent on level of experience
Working Hours: Full-time
Location: Remote in the United States, with extensive travel across the AMER region and occasional worldwide travel.

Job Summary
We are looking for a 5+ years experienced sales management professional with a background in our industry to lead our American sales team. As a senior staff member in the US team, you will have the overall responsibility for the regional sales team delivering on agreed targets and working according to the company sales strategy. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, you will play a central role in shaping the AMER sales strategy by identifying and evaluating market trends, customer behaviours, and potential new routes to market.
The role contains a large portion of active sales work, managing select key accounts in the region.
