What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide on-site, group, and virtual training and technical assistance related to school readiness, family engagement, and professional development
- Support recipients in implementing child assessments, curriculum, and teaching strategies appropriate for children from birth to five
- Enhance teacher/child interactions using the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) and other relevant measures
- Assist recipients in developing family engagement practices that foster early learning and parent-child relationships
- Coordinate training and technical assistance with specialists to ensure effective integration across service areas
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BA or BS degree in Early Childhood Education/Development or a related field from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 5+ years' experience in programs for young children from birth to five years of age
- 1+ year experience working with infants and toddlers
- 1+ year experience analyzing data and assisting programs in making data-driven decisions
- Must have a valid driver's license and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of Head Start programs
- 1+ year experience working within a Head Start/Early Head Start Program
- CLASS Train-the-Trainer (TOT) certification
- Fluently bilingual (Spanish)
- 1+ year experience related to mental health/social-emotional support
