What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Maintain and optimize clinical information systems to ensure they support patient care
- Provide support to physicians, nurses, and other clinicians in resolving issues related to electronic health records (EHR) and clinical applications
- Implement and manage systems to enhance the efficiency, quality, and safety of patient care
- Conduct training sessions for clinicians on the use of EHR and other clinical systems
- Oversee the use and functionality of clinical applications to ensure they meet user needs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in health informatics, Information Technology, Nursing, or a related field
- Must pass the pre-employment qualifications of the employer
- Experience in maintaining and optimizing clinical information systems
- Ability to provide prompt and effective support for clinicians experiencing issues with EHR and other clinical applications
- Strong collaboration skills to work closely with IT, clinical staff, and other stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in the implementation of new clinical information systems and upgrades
- Contribution to quality improvement initiatives in a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and clinical data management
