What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Process requests for patient health information according to company and facility policies
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all privileged information
- Manage patient health records and ensure compliance with HIPAA standards
- Respond to requests for patient records and assist with inbound/outbound calls
- Perform additional administrative duties as needed, including data entry and handling faxes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to commute between locations as needed
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with general office equipment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Detail-oriented with strong data entry skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a healthcare environment
- Previous production/metric-based work experience
- In-person customer service experience
- Ability to build relationships with on-site clients and customers
- Comfortable providing process improvement suggestions to internal stakeholders
