What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Process requests for patient health information in accordance with company and facility policies
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all privileged information
- Manage patient health records and ensure compliance with HIPAA standards
- Assemble medical records in standard order and ensure accuracy and completeness
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, including assisting with patient walk-ins
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to work with office equipment
- Detail-oriented with strong data entry skills and professional communication abilities
- Ability to work overtime during peak seasons as required
- Must be able to respond to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a healthcare environment
- Previous production or metric-based work experience
- In-person customer service experience
- Ability to build relationships with on-site clients and customers
- Comfortable providing process improvement suggestions and feedback
