What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide instruction in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, and Health Science Research on a quarter-by-quarter basis
- Develop and deliver engaging course materials and assessments
- Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) effectively for course administration
- Foster a respectful and inclusive classroom environment
- Evaluate and provide feedback on student performance and progress
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of a doctoral or master's degree in the discipline
- Completion of at least 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline
- Previous experience in postsecondary teaching preferred
- Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (Canvas, Blackboard, D2L, etc.)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Demonstrated excellence in postsecondary teaching
- Familiarity with innovative teaching methodologies in health sciences
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment in a higher education setting
- Active engagement in professional development activities related to health science education
