What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Address the needs of inbound callers, focusing on first call resolution
- Follow established call flows and work processes to meet government and state regulations
- Collaborate with internal partners to resolve issues related to claims, provider searches, and enrollment
- Maintain accurate documentation of all caller interactions and stay updated on call handling resources
- Display professionalism while assisting callers, including those who may be frustrated or upset
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 1 year of previous customer service experience, preferably in healthcare
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience using laptops and multiple applications simultaneously
- Proven ability to enter data accurately at a required speed
- Familiarity with Medicare and commercial healthcare systems
