What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the first point of contact for incoming calls, providing exceptional service to patients
- Schedule, cancel, and reschedule appointments while documenting interactions accurately
- Obtain and verify patient demographic and insurance information
- Assist in mentoring newly onboarded team members and support process improvement initiatives
- Handle payment processing for co-pays and outstanding balances, and meet call quality standards
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma
- One year of data look-up/data entry experience
- Two years of customer service experience with complex analytical problem-solving skills
- One year of experience in a call center, preferably in the medical industry
- One year of remote work experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- One year of post-secondary education
- Experience in a healthcare call center
- Familiarity with patient registration processes
