- Working knowledge of Windows networking (Azure, Office365, Active Directory, AWS, Group Policy, file sharing/migration, licensing services, RDP)
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Experience troubleshooting Windows computers and servers.
- Experience managing small to medium size projects.
- Must be able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritize work, apply evolving departmental standards, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to adapt to changes in work and technical environments
- Exercise initiative to independently learn new technologies
- Provide technical support to troubleshoot and resolved issues via phone, email, and on-line submitted tickets
- Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software problems
- Monitor the issue and request list; log, classify and prioritize requests, communicate the completion date to the users, analyze and complete the request, perform quality control, and documentation.
- Manage internal third-party applications for email and device management.
- Perform system updates, configurations, and network troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with other technical teams to resolve multi-faceted incidents.
- Manage Inventory and Monitoring solutions.
- Work as a key team member on deploying managed services as guided by corporate standards and client contracts; this includes servers, network infrastructure, monitoring, reporting, and systems conversions.
- Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and software using "Best Practices” standards.
- Install, configure, assemble, and repair computers, monitors, network infrastructure and peripherals such as printers and related hardware.
- Troubleshoot and solve complex hardware and software problems.
- 3+ years working directly with technology and at least five (5) years of customer service.
Title: Helpdesk Specialist
Location: 100% remote. MST or PST
Duration: 3-6 month contract to hire
The internal Helpdesk Specialist must be detail-orientated, self-motivated and thrives in a highly technical atmosphere. Providing a stable, robust, and current computing environment by maintaining the life cycle of our computing devices. Experienced support for Incident Response and Incident Management processes using our internal ticket management system.
