      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Ensure accurate and complete documentation in inpatient medical records to support precise coding and reporting
      - Adhere to ethical standards and guidelines as established by ACDIS and AHIMA
      - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to improve documentation practices
      - Participate in ongoing education to maintain certification and professional development
      - Assist in training and mentoring staff on clinical documentation integrity

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Must be a Registered Nurse (RN), Physician (MD), Physician Assistant (PA), Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA)
      - Must obtain certification as a Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS) or Certified Documentation Integrity Practitioner (CDIP) within 2 years of hire
      - Strong understanding of ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS coding
      - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
      - Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Previous experience in clinical documentation integrity or coding
      - Familiarity with healthcare data reporting standards
      - Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems
      - Additional certifications in healthcare quality or coding
      - Experience in a hospital setting or similar healthcare environment
