      The OIG is recruiting to fill a vacancy on our Recruitment, Exams, and Classification Team (RECT)! As a RECT member, you will gain a wealth of experience and knowledge in all parts of the C&P process, examinations, and recruiting as well as special projects. You will have the ability to work independently with a large span of control. And while we are a smaller HR shop, RECT is a highly collaborative and inclusive group of HR staff.       This position is eligible for 100% telework under Government Code 14200 for eligible applicants residing in California. With supervisor approval, you may choose to work 100% remote, a hybrid schedule, or 100% in-office.

      To safeguard the integrity of the State's correctional system by providing oversight and transparency through monitoring, reporting, and recommending improvements to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.

      The Office of the Inspector General is excluded from bargaining unit contracts.

      OIG AGPAs are appointed to Range L - a higher salary range than non-excluded.
