      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Evaluate and resolve denied claims within the Coding department
      - Review medical records and coding information to determine necessary changes or appeals
      - Utilize denial reports to assess root causes and identify trends in coding denials
      - Provide training and education to coding staff regarding payer rejections
      - Serve as a subject matter expert in developing workflows within the Audit Manager software tool

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - RHIT/RHIA/CCS/CPC certification with 5 years of experience in coding for an acute care hospital
      - Experience in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) tools and techniques
      - Strong knowledge of coding and billing regulations for all payers
      - Ability to maintain current knowledge of regulatory updates and local payer policies
      - Proven track record of monitoring and tracking denial trends

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Master's Degree
      - 5-10 years of experience in acute care coding
      - Clinical Document Specialist certification or clinical validation of coding experience
      - I-10 certification
