What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Ensure the coordination of claim activities and timely reimbursement of receivables
- Research, resolve, and prepare claims that have not passed payer edits daily
- Analyze outstanding monthly accounts receivable and process claims to achieve zero balances
- Clear payment variances and initiate corrective actions
- Guide and support agency personnel in insurance and non-Medicare claims processing
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Medical claims experience preferred
- Knowledge of healthcare collection procedures and microcomputer software/hardware preferred
- Effective analytical and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in home healthcare or related field
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
