What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned students and families for non-instructional matters
- Monitor student participation and proactively reach out to students who are not attending
- Ensure that students receive monthly connection calls from staff members
- Host weekly/bi-weekly virtual hangouts to promote social-emotional engagement among students
- Maintain accurate documentation of student performance and progress
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Two (2) years of college education AND two (2) years of experience in education, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
- Customer service focus with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with online learning experiences
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with the proposed age group in an educational setting
- Experience supporting adults and children in learning and using technology
- Ability to quickly learn new technology tools, including database and web-based tools
