- Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent
- Minimum of eight years healthcare administration experience
- Minimum of 3 years in hospice operations management
- Prior experience with budgetary responsibilities including budget development and monitoring
- Broad knowledge of federal and state regulations/administration
- Outstanding leadership, managerial skills
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and assertiveness skills

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the agency including growth and financial performance. The ED is responsible for the employment of qualified hospice personnel, provision of hospice services, and the delegation and coordination of hospice personnel evaluations. The Executive Director establishes, implements, and evaluates goals and objectives for hospice services that meet and promote the standards of quality and contribute to the total organization and philosophy.
