      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Manage billing and collections for assigned hospice agencies within the company
      - Analyze and follow up on billed medical claims to resolve issues in accordance with state and federal guidelines
      - Verify benefits through various insurance systems
      - Review and process billing requirements while maintaining attention to detail
      - Communicate effectively with patients and insurance providers regarding billing inquiries

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High school diploma or equivalent required; undergraduate degree preferred
      - Minimum of two years of medical billing experience; physician practice billing experience is a plus
      - Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance billing requirements
      - Proficiency in MS Office and web-enabled applications
      - Excellent oral and written communication skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in a high-volume billing environment
      - Understanding of medical claims processing and resolution
      - Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
