      VCA Kickingbird Animal Hospital is seeking a highly experienced veterinary professional to join our leadership team. We are a dedicated 7-doctor general practice animal hospital located in Edmond, OK. Our team is committed to providing high-quality veterinary care in a compassionate and friendly environment. We pride ourselves on our close relationships with clients and their pets, ensuring that every animal receives personalized attention and care.

      The Hospital Manager role demands a leader with interpersonal and organizational skills to achieve the hospital’s goals of delivering excellent patient care and customer service to clients as well as strong leadership to our staff. The successful candidate will have experience in human resources, personnel management, marketing, and business development. Your strong financial and operational acumen will be put to good use. This is an exciting, challenging, and fun opportunity to work with a great team. This position works with regional management in partnership with a medical director to perform a wide range of administrative activities related to a single practice, including mentoring the staff, overseeing the business operations and maintenance of the facility, ensuring business growth and profitability, and supporting the hospital's mission of delivering high quality patient care and exceptional client service.

      Skills and Qualifications


      Two to three years of customer service and financial budget management experience.


      Knowledge of sales and marketing techniques.


      Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially to a diverse range of audiences and settings.


      The ability to make decisions, delegate responsibility, and achieve results with hospital team members.


      Professional bearing and appearance, with excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude.


      Respect for and willingness to work with clients and their pets.

      An ability to handle multiple tasks and deal with an environment of changing priorities.
