      Position Summary

      The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for leading and supervising the housekeeping department to ensure exceptional cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency. This includes guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, approachable, and passionate about hospitality.

      Responsibilities

      • Supervise and support the housekeeping team, including room attendants, housepersons, and laundry staff
      • Create and manage daily room assignment sheets, inspections, and deep cleaning schedules
      • Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to brand standards
      • Recruit, train, schedule, and coach housekeeping staff
      • Maintain par levels and ordering of linen, guest supplies, and cleaning products
      • Work collaboratively with Engineering and Front Office to ensure timely room turns and guest satisfaction
      • Monitor labor productivity and ensure departmental expenses are in line with budget
      • Respond to guest feedback and resolve housekeeping-related service issues
      • Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards and procedures
      • Support the team by stepping in to assist during high-volume periods or staff shortages

      Qualifications

      • 2+ years of supervisory or management experience in hotel housekeeping (preferred in full-service or lifestyle brands)
      • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
      • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards
      • Proficient in inventory management and scheduling tools. Experience using Hotel Effectiveness and UKG is a plus.
      • Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays
      • Ability to walk, bend, lift up to 30 lbs, and be on feet for extended periods
      • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
