- Supervise and support the housekeeping team, including room attendants, housepersons, and laundry staff
- Create and manage daily room assignment sheets, inspections, and deep cleaning schedules
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to brand standards
- Recruit, train, schedule, and coach housekeeping staff
- Maintain par levels and ordering of linen, guest supplies, and cleaning products
- Work collaboratively with Engineering and Front Office to ensure timely room turns and guest satisfaction
- Monitor labor productivity and ensure departmental expenses are in line with budget
- Respond to guest feedback and resolve housekeeping-related service issues
- Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards and procedures
- Support the team by stepping in to assist during high-volume periods or staff shortages
- 2+ years of supervisory or management experience in hotel housekeeping (preferred in full-service or lifestyle brands)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards
- Proficient in inventory management and scheduling tools. Experience using Hotel Effectiveness and UKG is a plus.
- Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to walk, bend, lift up to 30 lbs, and be on feet for extended periods
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
