      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide supportive services and develop trusting relationships with a caseload of at least 30 households experiencing homelessness
      - Assist households in obtaining vital documents and navigating the housing application process
      - Maintain contact with participants to support their housing stability and provide tailored services
      - Collaborate with local housing authorities and service providers to enhance access to housing resources
      - Document case notes and maintain accurate records in compliance with program standards

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Must reside in North Carolina or within 40 miles of the NC border
      - Associate degree required; bachelor's degree preferred
      - Minimum of two (2) years of service experience with a preference for five (5) years
      - Knowledge of the local Homeless Services System and social service providers
      - Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience working with homeless populations or those with severe service needs
      - Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills at a professional working proficiency
      - Familiarity with the Homeless Management Information System
      - Crisis management experience
      - Strong customer service skills paired with a positive demeanor
