      Position Summary: Responsible for assisting tenants with their housing needs in order to become self-sufficient.

      Position Description:

      • Maintain regular contact with tenants to monitor housing needs and barriers
      • Complete housing search with potential tenant to quickly and efficiently obtain housing in the community
      • Assist with lease signings
      • Educate and advocate for tenants in regards to Fair Housing Laws and Tenant Rights and Responsibilities
      • Document timely and accurately all activities as defined by funder and credentialing entity
      • Complete initial and periodic inspections of housing units
      • Input data into all applicable electronic systems
      • Operate personal computer to input and retrieve data and produce reports and correspondence
      • Perform problem solving and conflict management as needed
      • Other duties as assigned

      • Excellent organizational and time management skills
      • Effective written and verbal communication skills
      • Ability to problem solve and multi-task
      • Handle sensitive contacts with clients
      • Ability to work in a team setting
      • Be adaptive, flexible and responsive to needs of others
      • Recognize unusual or threatening conditions and take appropriate action
      • Adequate computer skills and ability to learn new software

      Job Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education/experience
      • 3-5 years’ experience in a related area
      • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance

      Essential Functions/Physical Demands:

      • Positional: Driving in accordance with job duties assigned. Frequent to occasional standing and walking. Frequent to constant sitting.
      • Gross Mobility: Ability to climb multiple levels of stairs. Rare crawling. Infrequent balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Frequent to constant reaching and handling.
      • Sensory: Rare tasting/smelling. Infrequent use of color vision. Occasional use of far visual acuity, depth perception, and field of vision. Frequent use of near and midrange visual acuity, and visual accommodation. Frequent to constant hearing and talking.
