JOB SUMMARY
Benefits & HR Services provides benefits and HR consulting, compliance and strategic initiatives to TriNet
customers, WSEs and internal TriNet teams. The Benefits & HR Services team possess thought leadership as
well as deep knowledge and expertise of Benefits and HR fields for our domestic and Canadian customers,
enhancing the customer experience. This team ensures quality service and operational excellence within the
parameters of the program and delivery standards. We collaborate with all TriNet groups to assess escalated
matters resulting from technology through data integrity, and research, perform root cause analysis, and
resolution for the best outcome for both TriNet and the customer. Benefits & HR Services provides unique and

This job family is accountable for accurate and timely human resource management advice and consultancy
services to TriNet customers. The HR Compliance Manager is responsible for monitoring the compliance
landscape for new regulations, analyzing the regulation's impact on customers and creating and managing
project plans to implement the changes involving the necessary internal and external stakeholders. This role is
essential for supporting the ongoing development, administration, and maintenance of the company's
Compliance Management Program.Essential Duties/Responsibilities
• Assist with synthesizing compliance updates into terms easy for clients and colleagues to
understand.
• Ensure timely analysis of changing laws and regulations examining the customer impact of the
change. Create a project plan for regulation changes that have multiple stakeholders. Involve
stakeholders including, legal, customer communications, tax, payroll compliance, products, etc. in
the project and implementation plans.
• Outline the tasks involved in the project and delegate accordingly. Conduct risk assessments;
reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk.
Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
• Reviews and evaluates important HR regulations currently in effect for opportunities to build
project plans around those topics (examples include wage theft notice, new hire and termination
documents, etc.) to communicate to customers their obligation under the guidelines.
• Accurately tracks the compliance project plans, measuring timeliness and thoroughness of the
plan and its execution.
• Ensures stakeholders and colleagues are regularly informed of the status of projects. Regularly
communicates with management regarding project status, reports any problems or potential
problems. Forecasts potential implementation delays and develops alternate plans.
• Expand consulting capabilities demonstrating deep subject matter expertise on complex human
resources topics such as multi-state labor law compliance, wage and hour laws, and changing
employment regulations. Create, edit and keep Knowledge Articles up to date.
• Ensure proper and effective resolution of complicated human resource compliance issues. 5%
• Builds TriNet’s capabilities and expands human resource knowledge, and experience by
participating in professional development, training and mentoring opportunities.
• Grow HR thought leadership skills by collaborating with colleagues on building and delivering HR
trainings, writing white papers, articles and assisting to draft customer and colleague compliance
communications.
• Facilitate client meetings to explain and to provide background and resolution.
• Develop, provide input and review accuracy of training materials for educational purposes for
clients, Tier I, Tier II and Tier III groups.
• Provide expertise regarding compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and resolve open and escalated cases with an emphasis on timeliness and quality.
• Build and maintain effective business relationships with internal groups.
• Lead identification of root cause and process improvement opportunities.
• Demonstrate thought leadership through writing TriNet blogs, whitepapers, FAQs, and talking
points. Participate on cross functional teams to enhance HR compliance function.
• Proactively looks for ways to develop the entire team. Mentor and train new hires within the team and cross functionally.QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
Work Experience:
Typically 8+ years HR generalist with and emphasis on HR compliance and
employment law. Required
Typically 2+ years Project management experience. RequiredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities

The salary range for this role is $$83,000 to $ $149,400. The candidate’s final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, education, work location and experience.
A candidate’s compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNet’s corporate bonus plan.
