      We’re looking for an HR Manager to join our team in Eagan, MN! This HR Manager will serve as a strategic partner to Marvin’s retail and residential replacement-focused business units, including Infinity, Marvin Replacement, and Marvin Windows of Canada, which are critical to the company’s long-term growth strategy. These are a mix of new and high growth businesses within Marvin that will require strong partnerships with leaders to craft the long-term people strategy and vision for future success, while also being responsible for day-to-day tactical HR. The ideal candidate will be adept in translating big picture insights into actionable, practical solutions; unafraid to make recommendations and set precedent where none exists.

      The HR Manager plays a key role in securing and developing talent, shaping the culture and promoting Marvin values, and designing the organization (strategy, structure, people, processes and rewards). A successful candidate will demonstrate HR functional excellence and strong partnership with our HR Centers of Expertise in the execution of HR initiatives and cyclical processes, as well as adapting these tools and processes to meet the unique needs of the retail and residential replacement segments of Marvin. This is a leadership position and will provide direction and mentorship to HR Business Partners.


      Highlights of your role...

      • Provides consultative partnership to management on the application of people programs and practices to fit constantly evolving and often unique organizational needs while maintaining consistency with Marvin’s culture and standard processes
      • Ensures the HR function’s priorities and efforts are aligned to the business strategy
      • Exercises judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relationships with employees and leadership. Conducts investigations and resolves employee relations issues, with follow up on outcomes to inform continuous improvement of the company’s policies and culture
      • Ensures the organization is developing and maintaining a robust and sustainable talent pipeline in all areas of the business unit, including active participation in talent acquisition and talent management processes
      • Builds strong relationships with our HR Centers of Excellence to angle Marvin’s HR solutions and processes to unique business partner and organizational needs. Understands when and how to leverage our COE partners to benefit the business.
      • Influences cultural change to one of a collaborative, high-performance and continually improving environment. Advocates for and advances Marvin’s legacy and culture in a wide variety of work-settings, including small nationwide locations and a sizeable remote workforce
      • Partners with internal and external legal, risk management, and compliance partners to ensure people practices follow evolving state and local laws
      • Uses data to build business cases to guide and influence key initiatives
      • Leads and develops a highly engaged team of HR Business Partners

      We also want to make sure you have...

      • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or business-related field;
      • 5+ years of experience in HR or similar role required; experience working with varying levels of employees and management
      • Proven track record of successfully implementing HR programs and initiatives
      • Experience supporting a geographically dispersed workforce and experience partnering with a variety of business function
      • Ability to influence at varying levels throughout the organization
