      The Renaissance Shoals Resort & Spa is the premiere hotel and events destination in NW Alabama. We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join our management team as our new Human Resources Manager.

      As a key member of our resort HR team, the Human Resources Manager will play a critical role in all HR functions. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, this role is instrumental in fostering a positive work environment, ensuring the resort has an effective recruiting and retention plan, and supporting all areas of HR compliance. The HR Manager will work collaboratively with associates and management to deliver HR services that meet or exceed the needs of our team and builds a culture of trust and collaboration.

      Some of the areas where this role makes a significant impact include,

      • Recruitment and Talent Acquisition
        • This role is the primary talent acquisition manager for the property and will manage all aspects of recruiting.
      • General HR Administration
        • In coordination with the Director of HR, this role is a subject matter expert on PCH policies and procedures and will be a trusted resource for managers and associates.
      • Training and Development
        • Coordinates and facilitates new hire orientation and ongoing training programs to ensure effective employee development and engagement.
      • Associate Relations
        • Fosters a positive work environment by maintaining open communication channels and addressing associate concerns promptly.

      Qualifications

      • Education and Experience
        • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
        • Society of Human Resource Management Certification preferred.
        • Experience in the hotel or hospitality industry would be very beneficial.
      • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
        • Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
        • Excellent computer skills, specifically with the entire MS Office Suite.
        • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
