- Supervise payroll activities to ensure accurate and timely delivery of payroll, tax, and statutory benefits, including monthly result validation, addressing employee queries, and handling special cases.
- Continuously optimize payroll processes for improved user experience, efficiency, and accuracy using new technical tools and automation.
- Implement vendor management strategies to enhance service levels, improving user satisfaction.
- Oversee annual year-end tax filing to ensure compliance with local regulations and accuracy.
- Stay informed through self-learning and external consultations to address special tax requirements, especially with the creation of new pay items or benefit schedules.
- Establish an effective team structure to support payroll activities and provide continuous coaching to enhance team capabilities.
- Optimize payroll SOP and develop a knowledge database to enhance professionalism.
- Lead the team in executing payroll-related projects to ensure timely implementation.
- Promptly register statutory benefits accounts in compliance with local laws to facilitate smooth benefits contributions for new hires.
- Collaborate with payroll vendors for timely system configurations to ensure compliant payroll calculations and tax reporting.
- Supervise payroll, tax, and benefits delivery to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
- Profound understanding of HR processes and relevant legislation on ex-CN APAC payroll & tax.
- Have at least 5 years’ experience in HR, 2 years in ex-CN APAC payroll management.
- Proficiency in Excel and Power Query. Strong learning ability, capable of quickly mastering new technologies.
- Demonstrated experience in driving process enhancements and implementing technological solutions. Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in team management with excellent coaching skills.
- Excellent communication, teamwork ability, and a strong sense of service and confidentiality.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English.
