      Manager, Human Resources

      SUMMARY OF POSITION

      The Manager, Human Resources is responsible for delivering, coordinating, and managing HR processes.

      ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE

      The Manager, Human Resources reports to the Vice President of Human Resources and is based onsite at Morristown, New Jersey headquarters location.

      RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Executes recruitment strategies that guarantee the organization is appropriately staffed, by attracting, selecting and maintaining a workforce with the right mix of leadership, business and technical expertise that each function requires
      • Enforces policies and procedures and suggests new ones that contribute to foster a Best-in-Class organization by addressing the needs of employees and the business
      • Provides guidance to line management on a wide range of topics including employee relations, recruiting, and talent development
      • Delivers a consistent and quality application of the Performance Review Process and related performance management programs
      • Supports the leave of absence and immigration processes
      • Assists with administering benefit and wellness programs including responding to employee questions and leading employee engagement activities
      • Provides HRIS support and updates to the company’s systems
      • HR project work as needed, ie. Affirmative Action Plans

      QUALIFICATIONS

      • 5 years work experience in a fast-paced Human Resources team
      • Prior experience in the Pharmaceutical industry, supporting commercial organizations, and/or Recruiting strongly preferred.
      • Bachelor’s Degree required, Masters preferred.
      • Knowledge of employment law and compliance requirements
      • Ability to influence decision makers in an organization
      • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
      • Excellent verbal/written communication abilities; effective interpersonal skills; strong attention to detail
      • Highly organized with strong follow-up skills and the ability to multi-task and priority setting.
      • Strong sense of urgency; ability to execute quickly and efficiently
      • Team oriented with the ability to flex in support of the timelines, and deliverables of team members
      • Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information with tact and discretion
      • Working knowledge of human resources systems, (preferably ADP – Workforce Now), Microsoft Word, Excel, internet and social media channels as they relate to recruiting.
