      Job Description

      • Maintain Human Resources files pertaining to personnel, medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, workers compensation, etc.
      • Responsible for the recruiting of new personnel for job openings in the Company, which could include external advertising as well as internal.
      • Liaison between Temporary in-house agency and department requests
      • Use SAP system to enter necessary data concerning new hires, transfers, terminations, and other personnel changes within the company.
      • Assist in annual performance reviews and evaluations of associates as needed.
      • Confidentiality and tactfulness is a must in daily responsibilities.
      • Assist associates in day-to-day questions regarding benefits and other personnel-related changes.
      • Have general understanding of salary planning process for the site.
      • Assist with questions related to policies that affect associates working at the site.
      • Assure compliance with various Federal, State and Local Laws.
      • Perform other essential and peripheral duties as may be assigned.

      Qualifications

      • 4 year degree with 2 or more years of experience in a Human Resources environment or other relevant work experience.
      • Proficient with PC Windows and related applications; familiar with SAP concept.
      • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
      • General knowledge of Human Resources' laws and administering of Company policies and procedures.
      • Strong problem solving, organizational, and time management skills.
      • Capable of prioritizing and balancing multiple projects with minimal supervision.
      • Demonstrated ability to plan and execute duties effectively.
      • Team-oriented and capable of providing positive feedback to department.
