What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage Workday HR administrative tasks and ensure data consistency and compliance
- Audit Workday data and manage the terminated employee file program
- Review and approve Workday tasks related to personnel rules and collective bargaining agreements
- Complete customer requests submitted in the WARU customer request portal
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Two years of coursework in business or public administration, human resources, finance, computer science, or a related field
- Two years of experience in computer systems or personnel/payroll operational procedures, or a related field
OR
- Bachelor's Degree in business or public administration, human resources, finance, computer science, or a related field
- One year of experience in computer systems or personnel/payroll operational procedures, or a related field
OR
- Three years of experience in computer systems or personnel/payroll operational procedures, or a related field
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience analyzing and interpreting HRIS information in compliance with applicable laws and guidelines
- Ability to audit the work of others and provide constructive feedback
- Familiarity with the City's personnel rules, labor contracts, and operating laws
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in HRIS systems, particularly Workday
