- Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality relating to wide variety of communications all team member records and privilege company information
- Maintain master copies of the company’s policies, procedures, processes and other defining documents in relation to team member conduct and behavior, as instructed by the Human Resource Manager
- Perform compliance and risk mitigation or cost-savings audits on monthly, quarterly or annual basis
- Maintain various company programs
- Responsible for the administrative responsibilities related to the full employment cycle, in partnership with the Payroll and Benefits Coordinator
- Assist People Operations Manager with administrative duties related to Team Member Engagement.
- Maintain, audit and manage HR Folder and Personnel files
- Act as a backup to Recruitment Coordinator as needed such as assisting in phone interviews and setting up in person interviews
- Attend continuing education seminars to stay informed with developments in the field of HR
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, OSHA and other compliance guidelines established by regulation or by the company
- Complete all mandatory annual training programs
- Attend all meetings as requested
- Perform other tasks or projects as requested by supervisor or company leadership
- Four-year college degree in Human Resource or Management preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information
- Highly skilled in effective oral and written communication, including occasionally speaking publicly for small groups
- Working knowledge of HR laws, mandates, and internal policies
- Word processing and data entry skills, particularly superior attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time with a sense of urgency
- Proactive approach to problem solving and the requirements of the position
- Ability to meet deadlines and multitask
- Adherence to all company policies and procedures
- Professional representative for the company

The Human Resource Assistant/Coordinator's job is to assist with maintaining the human resource department for Elite Sports Medicine and Orthopedics and MPOWER Performance Institute in all functional areas with a focus on risk mitigation through compliance with federal, state and local laws and mandates. This position requires someone who is detailed-oriented, and task driven. This position is located at our Midtown location.
