- Professionally represent the Six Flags Great Escape Resort to all Guests, Applicants, and Team Members.
- Lead the recruitment process for all Seasonal and Part Time Lodge & Park positions.
- Schedule and attend job fairs, visit local area schools, and participate in community events to promote recruitment efforts.
- Assist applicants through the hiring process including applications, onboarding, orientation, and scheduling.
- Support current and former Team Members with any requests.
- Respond effectively to Team Member and department concerns.
- Support international Team Members with banking, housing, and any other requests
- Review applications, screen applicants and make seasonal/part-time hiring decisions for selected positions
- Share applications with department hiring manager/supervisor for review.
- Ensure departments are scheduling interviews in a timely manner and assist if needed by calling, emailing and texting applicants.
- Assist the HR Team with the facilitation of all Discovery classes for both new and returning team members.
- Support the day to day Wardrobe operation and monthly inventory.
- Plan, coordinate, promote, and manage team member activities and special events.
- Coordinate and communicate internal communications for all team members.
- Oversee the input and maintenance of Personnel records.
- Monitor, track, and submit hiring, training, and onboarding information through various databases.
- Ensure that job postings are posted in a timely manner and have been distributed to a variety of outside sources to ensure a quality pool of applicants.
- Other duties or assignments as required by leadership.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- College course work in Human Resources or Business Management a plus
- Previous office experience preferred
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Must be capable of performing work independently
- Must possess excellent organizational skills and be able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Must be a team player and must be able to communicate well with others
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must possess strong knowledge of MS Office Products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to type 25 words per minute and basic Microsoft Office Skills Preferred
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- This position requires standing, walking, crouching, bending, stooping, twisting, kneeling, lifting, and pushing.
- Valid Driver's License and clear driving record
