- Create and distribute forms to process data on new hires, non-employees, interns, terminations, position and status changes, salary, leave of absences, etc.
- Create job requisitions and manage activity of new hires in the Applicant Tracking System. This includes, but is not limited to, sending and monitoring the completion of onboarding paperwork and completing new hire forms to get them entered into PeopleSoft.
- Assist in the preparation and planning of new hire orientation. Coordinate services between teams, as needed.
- Oversees the approval and onboarding of all external consultants joining the corporate organizations.
- Review and process timesheets in the Time and Attendance System on a bi-weekly basis, prior to payroll running.
- Prepare departure folders and complete tasks for exit interviews, including scheduling of rooms and creating exit summary outlines.
- Monitor the corporate Human Resources inbox on a daily basis and funnel emails to the appropriate team member. Respond to emails on new hires, background checks and other miscellanous items.
- Assist in all administrative duties related to the annual performance management process.
- Answer general employee questions.
- Assist with special projects.
- Perform other related duties, as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Prior human resources, professional services or general office experience
- Desire to grow a career in human resources
- Strong proficiency in Excel

Summary
The Human Resources (HR) Assistant will provide support to the Corporate HR team, which offers strategic partnership to the firm's business professional population. The HR Assistant will manage daily tasks related to onboarding activities, new hire orientation, departures, timesheets, and other related duties. Additionally, the HR Assistant will provide exceptional customer service to ensure that employee inquiries are addressed promptly and accurately. This role is essential in carrying out duties that support the processes, procedures, and programs for corporate business professionals located in Chicago and other U.S. offices, as needed.

Target Salary Range
$61,300 - $65,000 if located in IllinoisQualifications
