✨Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Human Resources Assistant at San Pasqual Academy in Escondido, California. ✨
San Pasqual Academy is located on a beautiful 238 acres in rural San Pasqual Valley. SPA is equipped with all the amenities of a private high school, including classrooms, an auditorium, gym, and cafeteria. On grounds sports and activities include basketball, softball, and football. Our unique campus features residential staff and house parents serving as surrogate parents who mentor and tutor students, teach age-appropriate independent living skills, create opportunities to explore new interests, encourage participation in sports and recreation, assist in the exploration of career and job opportunities, and promote family living skills.
Pay: starting at $20.00 per hour.

What you will do: As the HR Assistant, you will provide administrative and clerical support to the Human Resources department at the site, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of HR functions and assisting with site training initiatives.
To be considered you should: Possess a High school diploma or equivalent, with an Associate's or bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field preferred. A minimum of one (1) year of administrative experience, ideally within a Human Resources setting, is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential, along with strong organizational and detail-oriented skills, and excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Candidates must be able to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion, demonstrate strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, and effectively prioritize tasks and manage time. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and be able to successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, TB test, and a search of the child abuse central registry. A valid driver's license is also required.
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8-5 (this is not a remote position)
