Job Description

- Function as main contact for HR customer service, responding to employee inquiries in all levels of the organization, expediting the resolution of issues and concerns, and dealing appropriately with a great deal of confidential material
- Administer PeopleSoft HRMS activities including entering employee data, ensuring data integrity, and compiling reports for management
- Coordinate and administer employment processes and related paperwork: regular and contract new hires, promotions, transfers, terminations, layoffs, payroll increases, employee status changes, etc.
- Support the administration of employee benefits, educational assistance programs, payroll, training, compensation, and related programs
- Provide staffing/hiring administration and support including EEOC and AAP compliance, requisitions, internal and external position postings, drug screening, background and reference checks, offer letters, new hire orientations, internal and external applicant tracking, etc.
- Track leaves of absence, FMLA, and disability programs in compliance with laws and regulations
- Maintain the confidentiality of all employee personnel records, payroll records, personnel-related correspondence, conversations, and any other issues
- Any other task assigned by your supervisor or management
- Five (5) or more years of administration experience, preferably in HR related roles
- Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Previous experience with PeopleSoft, preferred
- Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment in support of company objectives
- Customer service orientation with the ability to work well under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize, coordinate and simultaneously maintain multiple projects with high level of quality and productivity
- Effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Approachable, flexible and adaptable to change
- Demonstrated aptitude with Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook; HR management systems; Internet
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field, preferred
- PHR or SPHR
- Standard office environment
- Work requires substantial visual concentration on detail
- Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment
- Manufacturing operations may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors, heel/wrist straps and any other required PPE
- May be exposed to unusual environmental conditions such as loud noises, cold temperatures, confined spaces, dust or fumes
- This position requires access to controlled data or information and therefore only US persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Salary range: $30.40 to $36.89 Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications. Some roles may be eligible for participation in performance-based bonus programs.
