      Job Title: Human Resources Director

      Salary Range: $140,000 - $150,000 annually

      Description:

      The Human Resources Director will play a crucial role in the development, implementation, and administration of all Human Resources functions which include recruitment, training and development, employee relations, and Benefits administration ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. This person will provide guidance and support to corporate team members, on-site management staff and hourly associates.

      Job Responsibilities

      • Lead and manage the Human Resources, Recruiting, and Employee Relations teams. Provide leadership and support to the department team members and oversee the hiring, training, mentoring, and coaching of direct reports.
      • Operate as the primary administrator of Red Tail's HRIS platform. Oversee the platform and integration of 3rd party services to include Benefits Administration, COBRA administration, recruiting, and hiring and onboarding. Leverage the HRIS platform for HR Management.
      • Ensure the effective implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs by executing the overall strategy aligned with Red Tail's vision and goals. Address and resolve workplace issues and conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
      • Collaborate with operations leaders to align HR strategy with business goals using data and analytics to drive effective decision-making to ensure a positive employee experience. Develop and support positive employee relations by implementing effective communication and conflict resolution strategies.
      • Oversee the coordination of benefits with Red Tail's benefit administrator for new hires, current, and terminated associates.
      • Ensure mandatory State and Federal reporting including the annual 5500 reporting, EEO-1 filing, and ACA reporting.
      • Oversee the Workers Compensation process and ensure coding in HRIS is up to date and correct. Drive safety and workers compensation programs to limit losses and exposure.
      • Ensure internal processes including, but not limited to, the pre-hire, background checks, E-Verify, ACA, termination and payroll processes are compliant, streamlined, efficient, and communicated to all stakeholders and leaders.
      • Manage all benefits programs, audits and communication strategies relating to health, vision, dental, 401k, short-term disability, long-term disability, time off, COBRA, leave of absence, and EAP programming
      • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address any HR-related legal matters. Mitigate compliance related risks by staying informed with industry trends and legal developments.
      • Manage State and Federal Poster Compliance for all properties across all divisions and states.

      Qualifications:

      • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
      • Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
      • Working knowledge of Federal and local regulations relating to OSHA and worker's compensation.
      • Thorough knowledge of Human Resources practices and procedures as well as considerable knowledge of State and Federal laws and regulations pertaining to Human Resources matters.
      • Ability to effectively deal with associates and external vendors, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy to defuse anger, resolve conflicts and collect accurate information.
