      Job Description:
      This job is responsible for providing advice to business unit executives and senior-level managers on Human Resources (HR) issues. Key responsibilities include strategic planning, development, execution, and administration of effective policies and program to achieve short- and long-term goals of a specific business unit. Job expectations include leveraging a broad perspective and dedicated network to drive organizational success through the creation and execution of human capital plans aligned to business priorities.

      Strategically leads the development and delivery of conduct analysis, reporting, and governance for a particular function or organization.

      Responsibilities:
      This individual would be responsible for all processes across the Conduct space for the Staff Support, Global Technology and Global Operations functions including both strategy and execution for primary processes including:

      • Conduct Councils

      • Committee-level reporting and analysis

      • Conduct training development and execution, in partnership with the Academy

      • Year-end conduct review process (performance restrictions, incentive impact, base pay restrictions, outlier rationale, etc.)

      In addition, this role may work across the team as the lead on:

      • Risk and controls

      • Operational Excellence

      • Process Owner responsible for documentation of processes in POP

      • Primary liaison with Audit, Legal, Risk and Compliance on each of these processes where most are audited annually


      Role will focus on:

      • Setting strategic direction while balancing simplification and regulatory requirements

      • Partnering with Employee Relations executives, Compliance and other stakeholders to ensure a common enterprise approach with disciplinary outcomes for conduct incidents

      • Collaborating with HR executives and GOAT team to provide cyclical and ad hoc conduct reporting to address conduct areas of concern within the lines of business

      • Influencing at senior levels – across variety of constituents

      • Executing flawlessly within very tight timeframes

      • Packaging reporting materials and other documentation in a simple way to show what was done (whether that be internally to Audit/Risk or the Board, or externally to regulators)

      • Identifying improvement opportunities, building consensus, and then updating/enhancing for future processes

      • Connecting the dots, understanding the data (including the details and linkages), and telling the story

      • Adapting to changing environments and pivoting as necessary to manage complex work

      • Leading work that is featured with the most senior leaders of this company – and with the Board – while also engaging as needed within each LOB/CF

      Responsibilities:

      • Establishes the strategy for Enterprise and line of business specific Human Resources (HR) priorities in addition to ensuring organizational effectiveness across talent acquisition, performance management, talent development and learning, succession planning, compensation, etc.

      • Applies lenses of operational excellence, organizational health, and diversity and inclusion across all HR people processes

      • Partners with senior business leaders to ensure that programs and practices are in alignment with Enterprise culture and conduct principles, serving as a trusted advisor to leadership

      • Oversees and defines the strategy for critical workforce activities, including but not limited to headcount reporting and analytics, financials/expenses, promotions, diversity and inclusion, performance, talent management, and key cross-HR initiatives

      • Acts as an enterprise leader by building effective teams (may be indirectly), developing talent, managing risk, and creating an inclusive environment that values diverse backgrounds and perspectives

      • Ensures the team is appropriately leveraging HR systems and reporting tools (i.e., Workday and Tableau) to inform effective and strategic decision making

      Required Qualifications:

      • 10+ years knowledge and experience working with HR, Risk Management, and/or Regulatory Relations

      • Ideal candidate must have excellent oral & written communication skills; ability to articulate complex concepts to a non-specialist audience

      • Ability to assimilate complex data into a results-based story and effectively present the results; including the ability to develop concise, executive level presentations

      • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines

      • Demonstrated analytical and research skills - ability to communicate and analyze multi-dimensional data, draw conclusions, and evaluate business gaps & risks

      • Attention to detail, adept in handling quantitative data and ability to identify end to end impacts

      • A team player who acts across functions, proactive and focused on continuous improvement

      • A problem solver with a “can do” attitude, consultative approach, and client service mentality

      • Acts with a sense of urgency and drives issues through completion with a positive attitude
