      The Human Resource Generalist is both a strategic and tactical hands-on role through partnering with the Plant Leadership and employees on day-to-day HR guidance and support to help develop and deliver the people strategy and business solutions. The HR Generalist will provide leadership in creating a high-performance culture that emphasizes employee engagement, quality, safety, and effective continuous improvement implementation to drive a highly productive workforce. Along with implementing policies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment. In addition, this role will have lead responsibility for employee relations as well as other high-performance initiatives to deliver transformation and ongoing continuous improvement to our work practices and team leader leadership capabilities.

      Responsibilities

      Timekeeping Expectations:

      • Meets and greets all new and active team members.
      • Ensures the new hires understand protocols and processes before sending them to the assigned department.
      • Ensures new hires profiles and timesheets are reflecting correct department.
      • Completes biometrics for all new hire and makes sure actives are working properly.
      • Track absenteeism and tardiness to support compliance with attendance policy and disciplinary actions.
      • Ensures daily absent reports are sent out daily (including Saturdays)
      • Inputs all call ins into UKG daily.
      • Follow up with managers and input missing punches from previous day.
      • Ensure schedules are correct and employees are adhering to schedules.
      • Adjusts schedules when employees work outside of scheduled based on manager approvals.
      • Track daily attendance towards perfect attendance bonuses.
      • Tracks time off request and notes in UKG.
      • Uploads all disciplinaries and training to profiles in UKG.
      • Assist with incidents or accidents.
      • Ensures all FMLA, Workers’ comp etc. are kept updated on timesheets.
      • Reviews Preliminary reports for timesheets when Payroll processing for accuracy

      Human Resource Expectations:

      • In collaboration with the management team, will ensure HR policies are executed in a timely manner.
      • Assist with Annual Employee Performance Review’s for annual compensation increase.
      • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
      • Ensures compliance with company policies and core values.
      • Helps coordinate benefits enrollments.’
      • Helps support and participates in safety programs and initiatives.
      • Answers all questions and concerns from employees.
      • Assist and helps coordinate company parties.

      • Business Administration, or equivalent preferred.
      • Proven working experience as HR Generalist.
      • Strong Knowledge in payroll processes
      • Strong Knowledge in timekeeping
      • Manufacturing experience preferred
      • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
      • Bilingual required: Must be fluent in Spanish and English.
      • Intermediate to advance with MS Office Suite to include Outlook, Word, and Excel.
      • Strong knowledge of employment laws and safety regulations
      • Flexible morning schedule
